The AMMI Forum entitled “Impact of Malaysian Medical Device Regulations” was held in Kuala Lumpur on 23 June 2014. The forum was a great success with over 180 participants from organisations representing regulators, policy makers, the medical devices industry, (manufacturers, exporters, authorised representatives, importers, distributors), conformity assessment bodies (CABs), the medical professionals, hospitals, healthcare professionals, users and stakeholders (embassies, industry associations). The forum was co-chaired by Mr Hitendra Joshi, Chairman of AMMI and Mr Christophe Marque, Leader of AMMI Regulatory and Technical Committee.
