22 July 2024: AMMI OpEx Sharing & Factory Visit to Western Digital

Twenty AMMI delegates, led by Michel Van Crombrugge (AMMI Treasurer and Leader of the AMMI OpEx Committee) visited the Western Digital Factory in Batu Kawan. The objective of the visit was to learn about Western Digital’s successful adoption of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies to transform its factories, value chains and business models.

13 June 2024 – AMMI 35th AGM, Q2 Meeting and CEO Networking

AMMI held its 35th AGM and  Q2 Progress Meeting recently at E&O Hotel Penang. Over 50 AMMI members and guests attended the event, which started with a Luncheon with MDA Chief Executive, Mr Muralitharan. This was followed by the 35th AGM and Q2 Progress Meeting. After the meeting, guests adjourned for CEO Networking.

11 March 2024 – AMMI Q1 Progress Meeting and CEO Networking

AMMI held its Q1Progress Meeting recently at VE Hotel Bangsar South. Over 30 AMMI members and guests attended the event, which also included briefing on Medical Device Investment Performance 2023 Presentation by MIDA Life Sciences & Medical Technology Division  and Latest Updates by Dr Muralitharan, Chief Executive, MDA   After the meeting, AMMI members and guests adjourned for a networking cocktail session.

29 November 2023 -AMMI Q4 Progress Meeting

AMMI held its Q4 Progress Meeting recently at E&O Hotel Penang. Over 45 AMMI members and guests attended the event, which also included briefing by Deloitte on the Malaysian Budget Highlights 2024. After the meeting, AMMI members and guests adjourned for a networking cocktail session.

29 Nov 2023: AMMI Q4 Meeting

2 October 2023 – AMMI held its Gala Dinner in conjunction with the Malaysia MedTech Industry Summit 2023. The dinner was attended by 370 guests. It was a great night of networking and camaraderie, and indeed a showcase of who’s who from the medical device industry.  It was also a night of recognition and appreciation. AMMI presented appreciation awards to

Recognition awards for Talent Development were presented to  Ambu, B. Braun Medical Industries and Haemonetics . Molnlycke received the Talent Development Leader Award for the highest number of participation in AMMI public training courses  (from Jan – Oct 2023)

The highlight of the night was the AMMI ESG Awards, with Jabil winning the AMMI ESG Leader Award. Th4e other winners were:

• AMMI ESG Positive Impact Social Award   – AFA Pac
• AMMI ESG Positive Impact Governance Award – B. Braun Medical Industries
• AMMI ESG Recognition Awards went to Cochlear, Greatech and Sanmina
