15 May 2023 – AMMI HR Rouodtable

30 HR professionals of AMMI member companies attended the AMMI HR Roundtable held at Olive Tree Hotel Penang. The event started with a discussion on “Attracting Key Talent”. This was followed by a “World-Cafe” Workshop on “Retention Strategies”.  The final part of the event saw a  presentation by  Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Nasrul Hamidin ,Director at Centre for Professional Development and Continuing Education, (PDCE), UniMAPUniversiti Malaysia Perlis ( UniMAP ) on Upskilling for Technicians & Operators, and Industry Collaborations.

203 students attended the UM-AMMI MedTech Career Fair held at the University of Malaya campus in Kuala Lumpur. This event was a collaboration between UM’s BioMedical Engineering Students’ Club and AMMI, with Abbott, B. Braun and Teleflex as the event sponsors.

12-13 April 2023 – US FDA 21 CFR Part 820 – Quality System Regulation

37 participants from 8 companies attended our training on US FDA 21 CFR Part 820 Quality System Regulation training recently. 20 participants joined the on-site training at Amari Spice Hotel Penang while 17 participants joined online via Zoom. The 2-day training helped attendees to understand the UD FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements and get themselves ready for FDA inspections. The speaker shared practical examples to help attendees understand the content better and guided them on effective implementation of the requirements.

2 March 2023: AMMI Q1 Progress Meeting & Networking

2 March 2023 – AMMI held its Q1 Progress Meeting and CEO Networking at Sheraton Petaling Jaya.  The event started with a Networking Lunch, followed by the Progress Meeting and the following presentations:
