On 5 February 2026, AMMI members convened at the Eastin Hotel, Penang, for a roundtable session with Dr Muralitharan Paramasua, Chief Executive of the Medical Device Authority (MDA). The session was led by Ms Yean Ting Ong, AMMI Co-Leader of the Regulatory Affairs Committee, and attended by representatives from member companies and the Authority.
The discussion focused on regulatory developments and industry concerns, reinforcing continued collaboration between AMMI and the MDA in strengthening Malaysia’s medical device regulatory framework.
