1 October 2024: AMMI 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner

AMMI held its 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner on 1 October 2024 at G Hotel Gurney. 372 members and guests attended the event. Guest of Honour was YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, Chief Minister of Penang. AMMI Chairman,

AMMI Chairman, Andy Kuan Min Lee gave the welcome remarks. In his speech, he acknowledged the support of AMMI members who have been pivotal in making AMMI what it is today. He also acknowledged two of AMMI’s former chairmen who were present, Dato’ Hitendra Joshi and BL Lim, for their leadership and vision which laid the foundation for AMMI.

The Chief Minister of Penang, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow, graced the event as the Guest of Honour. In his keynote address, YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow emphasized Penang’s pivotal role in the growth of Malaysia’s medical device sector, highlighting the state’s transformation into a key hub for medical device manufacturing.

As part of the celebrations, Mr. Andy Lee presented a RM50,000 mock cheque to YAB Chow for the Penang TYT Disaster Fund, reinforcing AMMI’s commitment to supporting the local community in times of need.
